Our part time shifts all include working directly with the dogs in our care, including our rescue dogs looking for homes and our client dogs who are staying in our kennels for boarding, daycare, or Board & Train. Working for us also consists of responsibilities such as cleaning kennels, doing laundry, doing dishes, and other tasks to keep our kennels running smoothly.
Part Time Opportunities
Pay rate: Starts at $20/hour with room for growth.
Shifts include:
Daily Playgroups: 11am - 3pm Monday - Friday
Closing Shift: 4:30pm - 8:30pm Tuesday & Friday
Opening Shift: 7am - 11am Saturdays & Sundays
Midday Shift: 12pm - 4pm Saturdays & Sundays
We ask that part-time employees work a minimum of 2 shifts a week (more is also welcome!) to keep current on ever changing medical and behavioral needs for continuity of care of all dogs staying in our kennels. The training & behavior standards taught in our training classes are maintained. All are welcome to apply. No professional experience working with dogs is necessary, all training will be provided. Qualifications:
All applicants must be over the age of 18, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Shifts will also require standing and walking for extended periods of time, moving quickly and efficiently, and multi-tasking.
